Supercross Round 7: Arlington, TX

Round seven of the 2019 Monster Energy AMA World Supercross Championship lead the TXS Productions team of Theodore "Bubba" Pauli, Scotty Wennerstrom, and Joan Cros to the Lone Star State for a night of racing inside the home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium. After a long week of tough traveling conditions and bike maintenance, the team rolled into Texas optimistic and ready for the weekend ahead.

On a track that was technical, and a time gap that saw 1st through 40th the closest they've been all season. When the days qualifying sessions were over only Pauli would be heading into the nights racing program - logging the 34th fastest qualifying time in the 450SX class. Cros and Wennerstrom would not advance to the racing program, with Joan coming up just two-tenths of a second short and Scotty just three positions off of him.

Pauli lined up for 450SX Heat 1 and would end up finishing the 6 minutes + 1 lap race in 17th place. Despite adapting to a brand new bike set up all day, Pauli lined up for the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) focused on the task at hand. Unfortunately he would collide with another rider off the start, damaging his motorcycle and quickly resulting in the loss of rear brakes - thus ending his chances of competing in the main event.

While the seventh round of the 2019 Monster Energy AMA World Supercross season wasn't exactly what the team was looking for, they remain positive and continue to find areas of improvement and small victories each week. The boys will spend a few days this week down in Texas to get some training in, then it's on to the Motor City - Detroit, Michigan, for round 8 of this 17 round journey.

As always the team would like to send a huge thank you to all of their personnel, partners, and supporters that make it possible for them to go racing.
